The origins of Damask like in China, where thousands of years ago, silk weavers created an exquisite fabric with a reversible pattern that was either monochrome or two-tone. The term "damask" refers to the construction of the fabric - a satin in the background and a coarser weave with the weft showing. The fabric became known as damask during the Middle Ages because the city of Damascus became a leading silk weaving center.

Wallpaper is made to order and is therefore not eligible for return or refund. Please allow 21 days for production. When purchasing your wallpaper keep in mind slight color variations between orders my occur. Ensure that you buy enough of the same color to complete your job.

We highly recommend you purchase a sample before ordering to check colors and scale as computer screens may vary.
